Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) announced that Vietur Joint Venture is the winning contractor for the construction and equipment installation package of Long Thanh airport passenger terminal.
On the evening of August 24, information from ACV said that on the same day, this enterprise completed the selection of contractors for package number 5.10.
This is the construction and installation package of passenger terminal equipment of component project 3 – essential works in the airport of the Long Thanh airport construction investment project phase 1. The winning contractor is Vietur Joint Venture.
On the same day, ACV posted the decision approving the contractor selection results on the national bidding network. At the same time, ACV sent a written notice of the contractor selection results to all participating contractors.
According to the announcement, the winning contractor is the Vietur Joint Venture, including: IC Ictas Construction and Trade Industry Group (leading member of the joint venture), Ricons Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, Newtecons Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, SOL E&C Construction Investment Joint Stock Company, ATAD Structure Joint Stock Company, Construction Corporation No. 1 – JSC, HAWEE Electromechanical Joint Stock Company, Vietnam Construction and Import-Export Joint Stock Corporation (Vinaconex), Phuc Hung Holdings Construction Joint Stock Company, Hanoi Construction Corporation – JSC.
Vietur Joint Venture won the bid for the construction and installation of equipment for the Long Thanh airport passenger terminal with a winning bid price of over VND 35,800 billion (including VND 27,813 billion and USD 338,849,804); the contract implementation period is 1,170 days (equivalent to 39 months) from the effective date of the contract.
In the announcement, ACV also invited the contractor Vietur Joint Venture to contact the investor (ACV) to complete and sign the contract from August 25 to August 30, 2023.
It is expected that package 5.10 will start construction immediately after the contract is signed.
Package 5.10 – construction and installation of equipment for the Long Thanh airport passenger terminal is the package with the largest scale, the most complex technical nature and the longest construction time among the packages of component project 3 – essential works in the airport of Long Thanh airport phase 1.
It is known that ACV has also just asked for opinions from competent authorities on the plan to simultaneously start construction of two construction packages at Long Thanh airport and one package at Tan Son Nhat airport at the end of August 2023.
Two packages were started at Long Thanh airport, including: package 5.10 – construction and installation of equipment for the passenger terminal; package 4.6 – construction and installation of equipment for the runway and aircraft parking lot of Long Thanh International Airport with an approved budget of over VND 7,308 billion and a construction period of 700 days.
The package that started construction at Tan Son Nhat is package number 12 – construction and installation of equipment for the T3 passenger terminal at Tan Son Nhat airport with a winning bid price of over VND 9,034 billion.
